BBLTRANSLATION Set to Attend IAAPA Expo Europe 2022 in London

BBL Translation

The largest international conference and trade show for the leisure and attractions industry is set to return once again this year. Among the thousands of professionals expected to attend the ExCeL in London will be BBLTranslation’s very own Barbara Beatrice Lavitola.

Barbara Beatrice Lavitola has +13 years’ experience in the leisure and entertainment field as managing director of a translation agency that specialises in the theme park industry. Due to her global vision and in-depth knowledge of how a theme park works and is marketed, she developed in 2014 a cutting-edge solution that will reinvent the entertainment sector, mainly from the perspective of ride photos. She is the owner of VideoHeart, PhotoHeart, HeartWrestling and Pulso de Pulsos trademarks.

IAAPA Expo Europe is an annual event where professionals from hundreds of countries and companies from around the world come together to showcase the latest in the world of leisure and attractions. From theme parks to zoological parks, hotels to museums, and cruises to aquariums, the event is an invaluable opportunity for anyone involved in the industry to be at the cutting edge of its trends, news, and concerns. In the past, the exhibition has given us a chance to stay updated on the topics that matter most to the domain, including sustainability and security which are both areas that we at BBLTranslation have been taking an active interest in recently.

This year, the event will be heading to the shores of the UK and taking place in the ExCeL in London. This is a fantastic venue which has a 100-acre waterfront campus and several state-of-the-art features; we couldn’t be more excited to get there and meet people from across all sectors of the leisure and attractions industry. Plus, it’ll be a great chance to see the sights of the city!

In recent years, the role and potential for virtual reality has been featured at the front and centre of the exhibition, and we don’t expect this to be any less so the case in London. As this technology continues to progress and grow, so to do its uses and applicability to the industry that we specialise in and love. We’re expecting to see loads more great talks such as ‘Metaverse 101’ with Lukas Metzger from Europa-Park as a speaker.

Being specialised in the leisure industry, we are looking forward to the invaluable experience that attending the conference will bring us this year. It’s important to be up-to-date on all the latest developments and to have an understanding of what the most pressing concerns and thoughts are for our clients. Without this, we would be unable to bring you the absolute highest-quality translations that we pride ourselves on producing.

We’re excited to meet a wealth of new people and to take away lots of new information that we can then use to make sure that we continue to deliver the highest standards of translations.
