Consecutive Interpreting

For consecutive interpreting the process begins with a 5-10-minute talk by the speaker. During this phase, the interpreter takes notes on the structure of the discussion and memorises key concepts. The interpreter then reads through the notes and supplements them with information they have memorised to replicate the original content. Similarity to the original is around 90%. This is, without a doubt, the most demanding method of interpreting.
